I keep Timmins and give em Liljegren - Kerfoot is trash, I do not resign him personally. I also think both teams match as well. Not really sure though.

lily is more valuable than timmins. i also think both teams are in position to match. and kerfoot isnt bad and in this scenario would be needed, hes a lock for a swiss army in the top 6 that can log minutes. plus his speed is needed for JT. theres not alot of good ufas out there for 3M

As a Preds fan, Hynes is not that good of a coach. BUT, he'd be perfect in Toronto. He has a very defensive minded scheme and could whip Matthews and Marner into shape come playoffs.

Just prepare for your rookies to get little to nice ice time lol

i think his system is better than keefes. also nashville was always a hard team to play against. his guys are physical, and this team is almost built for him

I agree. Hynes can build a very strong and defensive bottom 6. He's 10x better than Lavy and I think Keefe should be out for Hynes before someone else snags him.

I’d probably want a 2nd or 3rd added onto the Laughton deal those prospects aren’t worth much and the flyers what a 1st + and prospect for Laughton

No interest in Hollowell or Holmberg, but I’d deal Andonovski & Frasca for Lafferty & Voit. 🙂

But why? He's a 165 lb. (maybe) D who's an average skater with clumsy hands who regressed a not insignificant amount this past season, and was never an A prospect to begin with.

There are far better, more suitable 21-ish yo Dmen out there to be had for a 2nd, if not less.

He's the same level as Neighbors for me. I'd trade a 2nd for him especially a 2024 one that will most likely be a late 2nd.

Not sure Toronto is getting enough value in the deal with Seattle. . . .

But in a contradiction of sorts, not sure Seattle makes that deal, anyway. Firstly, while I know the deal is being made on the premise that Nylander would extend with Seattle, I'm not sure that he would when he's a season away from UFA. As good a season as the Kraken just had, they are still a fledgling hockey team and no one would fault Nylander to want to explore the market in a year's time. Additionally, with how well Francis has managed the cap and kept his roster balanced (both in contribution as well as financially), I am not sure he wants to go there ($9 million per) on one player yet, especially a winger. Just my take.

nylander can play center. and alot of teams are moving players with an ext. so toronto would obv find a team where hes willing to sign longterm.

For you, maybe, but you alone. Nobody else thinks that now, if they ever did. What's so great about him anyway? He doesn't fit our D profile in any way. He's exactly the type of thing we have far too much of. Do you really want to plug a 165 lb guy who avoids confrontation and would instantly be the slowest D skater in our entire pool, team and prospects? Sorry, I just don't see the allure. We get probably get Jett Woo for that same offer. Bigger, faster, tougher, more active and already has played like 150 AHL games. He could probably spell Bortz in a pinch right now if needed.

If they want a D-prospect instead of the mostly accepted BOS 2nd then I'd part with Ian Moore instead of the pick. Absolutely no chance for Warren in the deal though like you said.
