These trades don't happen in the NHL and they shouldn't. Boston loses their best prospect, best goalie, and 3 very capable everyday NHLers at affordable deals for a pair of centers, one of whom is locker room cancer and will demand around 7 million. The cap relief isn't there and you've created holes on D and wing that you'd be left with, at best, 4 million dollars to work with.

It’s hilarious that they are going to try and be competitive after trading scheifele, Dubois and hellebuyck. It’s just going to start the inevitable fall into a rebuild.

Chevy should just commit to looking 3-4 years down the line. Because he’s going go end up trading scheifele and pld for packages to try and stay competitive and it’s going to backfire.

As much as it would hurt the franchises future, I hope he gets absolutely fleeced in the PLD, Helly and Scheif deals so that he gets fired finally. The team would be way better off without him.
