remove the 2 nsh prospects and this is a pretty fair deal. They get a top winger a decent goalie and a first round prospect for Saros. If they don't want Thomson I would be down to trade them a different prospect with an additional pick or something but I think this is pretty close imo.

Saros and Debrincat won't be in the same deal. It wouldn't make sense for the Preds

I wouldn't classify 27 year old McKeown as a prospect, but him and Burke aren't the issue.

Like @OkMan said here, and every Preds fan has pointed out on these boards a Saros for DeBrincat trade doesn't work for NSH. If the Preds trade for Debrincat because they want to be competitive again, keeping Saros is a must. If they're willing to trade Saros they're tearing it down, and an expensive winger in his prime years wouldn't be of interest to them.

Trading saros indicates nashville is taking a step back.

Tieing 8-9 million in a winger indicates trying to compete.

A. Forsberg doesnt begin to replace saros and keep nashville competitive. A non competitive nashville isnt a place a young winger like debrincat would want to stay long term.

Burke is our 2nd best center prospect and we need those desperately.

I like Miles Wood but not at 3.5 …..Pretty confident Mandoliese or Ferguson could provide much of the same as Joey Daccord for 500k less.

2-3 years maybe. His misuse in the KHL didn't speed his development up.
