I'm thinkin more like Bemstrom and a 3rd rounder for Hayes if the Jackets are in on him.

I’d go elsewhere then. Hayes at 4 mill for 3 years should be 2 above average assets.

Let's see; you want the Avs to trade you their 22 y/o, cost-controlled player that has room to grow for a 29 y/o with three years left that happened to have an outlier year this season? Yeah, no thanks.

So Flyers take $35M in cap on and give up $20M to only move up 11 spots? No thanks

Would take a lot more from the Canucks for Flyers to consider soaking OEL's contract

I don’t care about total money. Myers is expiring and would get another asset at the deadline and OEL can feasibly be bought out after two years for 1.67 per and risto can’t and is complete and utter dog water. I assume Vancouver would decline this tbh

If you don’t like Laughton, I get it. But The asking price is a 1st and a B prospect, so a A- or B+ prospect isn’t unreasonable.

Dude if we are taking on $15M in cap I’m not trading 1sts lmao I’m taking their first and tell them to have fun with Risto and keep our 22 also.

I mean. You can ask for more it just won’t happen. Risto buyout is higher than the OEL in 2 years. So you take two extra mill for two years to get it back over the buyout years. And the Tyler Myers 6 mill moves at midseason so I’ll take another top 10 and be gone with Risto in a second. Doesn’t matter much anyway… highly unlikely OEL would waive anyway.

I'd rather keep Risto then soaking up two bad contracts for 11 spots. We shouldn't be sending 1sts to soak cap anyway.

Newhook is still young and has a lot of upside so the Avs aren't offering or agreeing to that deal.

I think the CBJ deal is reasonable but Jackets fans seem to disagree, and I know jack about their prospects.

I can't see the Flyers taking back Myers, Seeler has a year left and is worth keeping around if it means a single 4th.

And if anybody wants TDA is an enigma, so go crazy on that.

If I have to watch Risto for 5 more years, I’m gonna suck start a pistol.

I have no idea what u just said lol the pick isn’t in the top 10 so I have no clue what ur saying. Risto literally just had his bets professional year. He only has 4 years left and they won’t be competitive for any of them likely. OEL costs more and seems to be hated by every team he goes to. Taking on $13.25M this year alone is worth the 1st round pick lol. The Flyers got a 2nd and a real good RHD prospect for $8M. Why wouldn’t they get even more for taking $13.25M

I mean for the first time in his career Risto was actually decent last year. If you don’t like him fine but he’s a solid third pairing guy if he keeps up the pace he was at last year. He’s getting paid way too much but that is Chuck’s fault not his.

I don't think you realize how little "elsewhere" there is going to be. lol.

Boqvist + for Hayes is straight criminal. lol.
