Take on MM's contract to move up from pick #43 to #28

Trade 2:
Picks #9, 17, & 42 for picks #7 & 22 -- only if Michkov is available at 7

Trade 3:
Picks #22 & 28 plus Fabbri for DeBrincat, sign to 8x8

Trade 4:
2024 2nd Round Pick for Matt Roy

Sign Suter, Chiasson, Veleno, and Clifton for depth

Goal is to become a wildcard team this season while setting a target window 3 years from now with the arrival of Michkov and Seider/Raymond/Edvinsson/Kasper/Cossa in/entering their primes and Larkin/DeBrincat/Copp/Wallman/Roy/Husso will be 28-31.

Your FA signings are woefully under value. Suter, Clifton and Veleno will all get more. DeBrincat very likely gets more than 8m too.

As a Leafs fan, I just don't understand why anyone would want Murray, even with a first attached. Waste of cap space, isn't going to stay healthy and hasn't performed in like four years.

Still, unless Michkov drops to 7, I don't see the point in trading assets to move up 2 spots...

AAV's of DeBrincat/Suter/Veleno I could see going up another ~$500,000 but not much more than that. I could see up to 2 million a year for Suter. Honestly I have no idea the value of Clifton, was just looking for a good depth RD.

- Clifton will get no less than 1.5 and could go as high as 3m due to the FA market and available RHD (if he gets to 3m, Detroit should stay out of it). He will also get at least 3 years.
- Veleno isn't far off, but it will be more than 1m, probably around 1.5... probably shouldn't have lumped him into the same category as Suter and Clifton for "woefully" low

As much as if Michkov falls to 7 I would love for the flyers to take him I don’t think that will happen. If their “guy” is gone or they think he’ll still be available at 9 they 100% accept this.
