That lame offer doesn't get Alex DeBrincat, Plus Pierre Dorion is taking him to arbitration. So the 7 x $9,500,000 isn't happening.

1 year of Teravainen following a 37 point season + two late 2nd round picks + late 1st round pick in 2024
Not a great deal tbh. If Teravainen was signed reasonably for 4 more years at $5m maybe we'd consider it.

lame offer? lol the dude doesnt want to stay in Ottawa and you think you are getting anywhere near there? Dorion when to arb so they could trade him and protect themselves.

not that he would come here anyways. But Ottawa isnt in a position of power.

Sharks easily decline. Also a player like Barabanov is totally wasted on the 4th line. Typical bad asset management.

Seeley doesn't do anything for the Sharks, we are overloaded at LD as it is.

Rees is fine, but Barabanov's max value will likely come around the trade deadline. The right deal with a team looking to add dirt cheap skill for the playoffs could very well bring back a 1st for us.

Sharks would be much much more interested in working up a deal based on one of your RD prospects with Heimosalmi, Morrow or Honka being the major piece of the trade.

He's a very solid defensive forward that could help out and if you decide to sell then you can deal him for more picks/prospects

Yeah not a lame offer at all, I would take it

You'd hope that Teräväinen rebounds and sign a reasonable extension in Ottawa but worst case scenario, 1st + 2nd + 2nd + 4th + 5th is a good return anyway

turbo has done well in his previous seasons. i think he was carrying a shoulder injury all year and his grandfather, who he was close to, passed during the season.
