Why would the Flyers trade a young goalie that MAY still fit their window for an older goalie that won't be on the team by the time they are competitive again?

Love Hellebuyck, but how does the Flyers trading a younger goalie for an older goalie going to help their rebuild? Acquiring Hellebuyck would be a "try and win now" move, which the Flyers are not in a state to do.
