There isn’t a lot of Habs fan that do that trade. Anderson to an out of division team would be at least a 2nd and a 3rd. No retention, no cap dumps

Reports are that Montreal even turned down a 1st, so taking away the 1st adding a 3rd, cap dump 4th waiver eligible goalie, a bottom 6 forward and a B/C level prospect isn't even in the realm of possibilities for Anderson without retention

Habs fans are hilarious, you still think Anderson has value despite being massively overpriced. He's barely a 40 point winger on a good year. He's a 4th liner making 5 million keep him.

Habs fans know Anderson has value because quite literally every hockey talking head in Canada has said he has value among NHL GMs.

When will people realize that hockey is run by an old boys club who values size. Big guys who skate fast and hit still have NHL GMs thinking they're important to a winning team

Had a brutal year last year but goalies have proven to be a crapshoot. And at 1.65M, he'd be a solid vet to pair with Woll, who is likely the starter by season's end.

Can't speak for other posters, but for me Anderson is a guy that is more valuable to a contender. He should have a couple of good years left, so it would make sense for the Habs to move him now while he still holds value. Jarnkrok is also a pretty good part of the return, which seems to be ignored here.

Rather Anderson than Jarnkrok. Anderson brings size and speed to this team
