Alright let’s break this baby down:

Henrique will likely not be moved unless a first is in play. Colorado or Carolina could be teams interested, so Ducks decline.

Only way Myers would be sent to Anaheim is after the bonus and with a sweetener, not a cap dump for cap dump. Anaheim declines.

Columbus likely won’t accept this.

Orlov likely isn’t signing with a rebuilding team, someone like Graves is more manageable, unless Orlov is in it for the money over the ring.

Zellweger likely plays in San Diego next year: swap him with Lacombe.

I’m all for Bertuzzi in the lineup, but that contract might be iffy. Maybe 5.25 x 4 would be a bit better.

Strome is not our 1C, McTavish or Zegras are.

Out of curiosity who do Columbus fans think will be the odd man out on the backend? Seem to have a lot of bodies. Boqvist seems plausible to me (not saying for the above return, just to be traded)

It’s might just be Boqvist just based on the moves and the depth in the prospect pool, but another name to think would be Bean. I could see either being moved.

Those were the two that jumped out to me too. Peeke recently resigned and gudbranson too hard to trade.

There's a not unlikely situation that it's nobody. Blankenburg is waiver exempt and they could run with 2 extra defense 1 extra forward instead of the usual 2 forwards 1 defense. They could have Werenski, Provorov, Severson, Jiricek, Peeke, Bean, Boqvist, and Gudbranson at the start of the season while they test Jiricek out. If he's not ready then he goes back to the minors and they're left with the other 7 for the season and Blankenburg as a call up option or regular rotation depending on what Babcock wants each night. If Jiricek does stick then they could field offers as the season goes on and teams take injuries or they take a couple themselves that eliminates the need for a trade.

Yeah, but Boqvist to me is a prime candidate to bust out this year. He really looked good last year and if he can stay healthy he may make it difficult to trade him. But I agree with your assessment. The Jackets don’t want to trade the depth away just to end up needing it.

I don't find that interesting at all for Ottawa

Mathieu Joseph has elite PK advanced stats, he's a top skater and pretty good defensively. His offense isn't as good as Henrique but this swap for a UFA-to-be would cost basically two 2nd round picks? Hell no thanks

And Henrique would barely have any PP TOI in Ottawa so that wouldn't help his totals

PASS

No worries because Ottawa will not that (well, you never know with Dorion though)
