Trades
1.
WPG
  1. Clarke, Brandt
  2. Iafallo, Alex
  3. Vilardi, Gabriel [RFA Rights]
  4. 2023 2nd round pick (LAK)
Additional Details:
Iafallo is added for cap reasons the Larsson buyout shows how hard it is to move money. So it's vilardi, clarke and a 2nd for PLD.

Depending on the offers of the other 4-5 teams he's willing to sign an extension with a 2024 1st may be required. Time will tell.

Stanley brings size to LA third pairing, I could see a scenario where more money goes the jets way and Brendon dillon comes back half the salary retained so 1.95m cap hit over Stanley though.
2.
WPG
  1. Arvidsson, Viktor
Additional Details:
More then Iafello needs to go out to make the money work. This could be a separate trade to another team but let's say it's the jets making it no 2nd going the jets way and Gustaffson coming back to LA. Cheaper contract for the 4th line.

LA shouldn't be adding Clarke in that deal. That's too much. Remove Clarke and add in Durzi and then I think this is fair. Maybe turn that 2nd into a protected first.

If LA was their only option to trade with maybe. Durzi offers LA value next year vs Clarke 2-3 years from now. One of their top prospects will need to be included. Don't think it's a forward with two forwards coming back in the deal. Durzi is small to the jets have enough small skilled d coming up heinola and Chisholm IE. Jets will pass on Durzi and move PLD elsewhere I reckon.

hahahhahaah JETS FANS ARE D-E-L-U-S-I-O-N-A-L . I don't even think they can get Vilardi for PLD since LA has no cap space and their need is more in goaltending. The peg is not trading in a position of force . Sorry bro, be prepared to be disappointed when the trade comes down! hahaha nerd

You wouldn't get Clarke 1 for 1.

Jets fans are in for a world of disappointment when PLD is eventually traded. He's bringing nothing close to this return.

Your hoping byfield or clarke turn into a player of plds value right now their both question marks. If you hold onto a hope over a sure thing you'll eventually be disappointed. (Turcotte)

Don’t trade Clarke for the man, even I know that’s too much, but the jets will take that deal.

In my opinion the Kings just aren't trading Clarke under any circumstances, he's their eventual top pair RHD to replace Doughty and they aren't trading that away.

They traded Faber and Grans, they're not trading Clarke too and messing up the longer term build. Its doubtful but I can see where they *might* be willing to part with Byfield for Dubois but not Clarke.

Seems strange that they're in on Dubois, don't see a fit or need by LA for him but these GMs seldom make much sense in a lot of their dealings.

Its too bad Chevy didn't get his lazy @ss to work sooner, maybe the Jets could've gotten Grans in a PLD trade, the Jets really don't need another 6' lightweight dman like Durzi.

My guess is their not sure if Kopitar will continue playing after next season or that byfield will be ready to fill his shoes. Ot they plan to run Kopitar Dubois Danault down the middle and go for it over the next few seasons.

I'm sure their was a conversation regarding grange before they made that trade but he wouldn't cut it. Still waiting to see who the teams are. But outside of Montreal and LA I'd guess Rangers and Panthers.

If New York offers Lefrenierre and Schneider. Or Florida offers Lundell which they might if they think they can run it back. Rangers and Habs also have 1st round picks this year. It's going to be expensive.

I'm not as optimistic as you are, really don't think the Jets will get the likes of a Lundell or Schneider for Dubois, think the eventual Dubois trade will look like a lot of the PLD to Habs trades we see on here that Jets fans for the most part aren't fond of. I think it'll be a better version of the Copp trade but not spectacular returns either, a 1st, 2nd or middling to good lineup player and a better prospect then Barron was but not an A-grade prospect, more like a B+ prospect.

The Rangers wouldn't trade Schneider for Eichel, they won't trade him for Dubois. The Rangers are another team that I don't see as a fit for PLD but stranger things have occurred so maybe he does end up there.

Can't wait for him to be gone, good riddance!
