At that cap hit, I dont see the Canes going after JGP. Good player, but not a fit for Carolina.

I think that the biggest hold up would be his cap hit. If it could be brought down to 3.5-4mil, I think the Canes pull the trigger all day. He would be a great 3C that could push Staal down to 4C. A 3rd team would likely need to facilitate the trade for retention purposes, but the value you have there is fine.

CHI declines. Zero interest in Bode Wilde. You probably have to send the 2024 2nd, as has been proposed a ton of times already and is pretty well agreed upon, or find another team.
