Adding the 3rd on Sharangovich is a little bit rich for me, especially for a guy that is on the block already. I think just the 2nd for him is fair enough value.

The Devils are not qualifying Blackwood, so there's no sense in paying a pick for his signing rights.

TB counters for the equally likely Bahl for Sean Day and Lucas Edmonds. Show me one TB lightning defensenan under 195ponds under Julien Brisebois.... I'll wait......... Save you the time there are zero. TB wants big and physical Walsh ain't that so he's of zero interest Boqvist is an 8-11 at best again nothing majorly appealing. It starts with Bahl if Jersey wants Colton you aren't considering TBs need or organizational philosophy. Walsh is also a Rd where TB has 5nhl contacts already meaning one is going. They are also loaded at RD T Cuse with Thompson Schmidt Crozier. So unless you Are willing to trade Bahl Colton won't be wearing a pitchfork.

I think teams see these as two different things.

We think so, but don’t know for sure. I didn’t think he was coming back this year and he did. And our GM was on the radio the other day saying he was comfortable with Vanecek/Blackwood/Schmid in AHL. But that should not change a team’s approach much if they want the guy. We are probably talking about a conditional 6th round pick.

I think that’s a different question altogether. I think if teams like him enough to say they’d buy in free agency, they’d probably be okay paying the late pick (especially if he took less money). If teams just think he is a bad goaltender…they won’t.

I think these two thoughts need to be decoupled more often.

Hawks decline. Remove the Rangers '23 2nd and the Hawks probably accept. Tampa Bay also declines. If they have to trade Colton, they'll get better offers that more closely meet their needs than this.

Those guys are average prospects at absolute best. They would all 3 probably rank outside the top 7/8 of the Devils top prospects.

I would be surprised if they play 200 NHL games combined.

Who employs you in player development/scouting? Al Murray is really high on them I'll take his word? Bet you this time last year you thought the same or less of Nick Perbix?

Schmidt is okay but double-overager as junior. Crozier likely a depth guy. Thompson is best of three (but is under 195 lbs…oh no). Walsh probably has higher ceiling than all of them.

He's also is just 21 and going to get bigger. Walsh is 24 not getting bigger most likely. Then keep Walsh TB doesn't want him. Schmidt just turned 20 you dont have a clue what your talking about double over-ager?🙄😂😂 He was 19 at the start of the season not only isn't he a "double over-ager he isn't considered an over-ager at all🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
Please do yourself a favor do some research before making comments that make you look like a complete moron as the "double over-ager" does.
I guarantee you if he were eligible to play in the AHL last year that's exactly where he would have been.

Ohh yeah a 19 year old is a double over-ager. No I know you're About as sharp as a butter knife.
Actually the emoji's were to prevent me from telling you you have the hockey knowledge of a f***ING houseplant. Doubling down on stupid is brilliant good luck with that.

The insults do not buttress your case further.

I have never had anyone challenge my hockey knowledge on here before (been mostly the opposite really).

Well the brilliance of claiming a 19 yo at the start of the season was a "double over-ager " clearly shows you have no F---ing clue what you were talking about. Other comments also show you haven't a clue about TB prospects ,so people clearly need to challenge your utter lack of knowledge. Guys drafted in the third round never become "double over-agers" so your "hockey knowledge" is highly questionable.

As someone who is so knowledgeable in these matters, clearly you would be aware that players in the seasons following their first draft eligible season are often called “overager”…so if you are in your second season after draft-eligible year, one could call you “double overager”. Those uses are common in draft evaluations. There is also a term for CHL roster allotment that allow 21-year olds, also sometimes called “overagers”. These are not invented words or new terms. But I am assuming you knew all this because you are an expert.

Insult me all you want. I don’t care. It’s humorous in a way, because truth is, I have forgotten more about the subject that you’ll probably ever know.

Clearly the dementia set in then and you forgot everything.
Here you go Einstein
The CHL currently places a cap of three 20-year-old-or-over players per team, commonly known as "overage players". The CHL also allows up to four 16-year-olds on each roster.

So ye all might hockey guru run that definition by me again. Let's start over on yes he like 10,000's of teenagers before him played in the Juniors 2 years post draft for development (90%or better of the league who went the juniors route do this.) An agreement between the NHL & CHL requires it. I truly believe your opinion of TB prospects is utterly False.
