You think so? LA is kinda desperate for a goalie who can save a puck no?

True, but I think there are a bunch of guys they would trade first like Arvidsson, Grundstrom, Moore, and Iafallo.

Hall for a 3rd / 4th and a RFA who is a question mark to even be qualified sure, I'd do it, and if it doesn't seem to be a fit midseason, flip him with retention and can likely earn better than the 3rd and 4th that was sent to get him.

Ha, ha, Vilardi, ha, ha, ha. No.

Los Angeles has to have the cap differential in any goalie trade be less than $2 million, and right now, Vilardi doesn't count against the cap total because he's a RFA.

Arvidsson plus our 2025 second is a possibility, or Iafallo plus our 2023 fourth would be acceptable.

Good point, I could see the B's wanting Turcotte to potentially play up the middle but with Merkulov playing some C last year he could be the answer. I wouldn't mind Arvidsson but id pass on the other 3.

I agree, it's not a huge return you're right but it moves off of the 6mil cap hit for two seasons, and foote brings size and some grit so I think he could be an ok third pairing guy.

Wouldn't trade Vilardi alone for Ullmark. LA & Boston are two teams in cap trouble and probably aren't going to be good partners. Maybe and Iafallo for Ullmark deal be not Vilardi that they are building around.

If the B's can only get iaffalo or arvidsson I'd rather trade Ullmark elsewhere. a bang average middle six forward for the vezina winner isn't gonna cut it.

Andersen and Hill are available, both played for the Pacific and would be UFAs at similar cap hits.

Vilardi is an RFA about to take a bridge and we haven't even seen his ceiling. Not trading him for a rental when there are options who faired better in the playoffs and know the Pacific.

Keep saying well give a 6th or 7th for Forbort, not more.

And he is useless 5v5, we have other options, Boston is in a cap crunch, this they will get far below market value for any cap moving out.

If Ullmark is so valuable, why do all -- and I do mean ALL -- of your fellow Boston adherents constantly offer him to us for Sean Durzi and a second?

Because we don't need a starting goalie. Sway is the future, Bussi deserves a look. Moving Ullmark allows that.

what option? sign Beaulieu again? yalls pk stunk so bad, I think Verbeek would heavily consider it or maybe a 5th depending on the market.

You missed the point entirely, which wasn't why are you trading Ullmark, it's why are your fellow Boston fans trading him for Durzi and a second, which is a lesser package than Arvidsson plus a second or Iafallo plus a fourth.

There's plenty of better defenseman avaliable of the UFA market than Forbort. Our defense was a problem 5v5 as well, and Forbort doesn't help there.

We can go after Graves, Mayfield, Dumba, Orlov, etc. In case you hadn't noticed, we have the money to do so.

You think UFA's will want to go be on the worst team in the league? good luck. Ryan Graves will be your Johnny Gaudreau
