Lol the drugs must be good in Cali if you think a rebuilding hawks team is gonna take fowler and not only that but send picks to the ducks.

Bedard is an player that could change the franchise. You gotta send the whole team to get him lol.

We're not packaging sh*t for 1OA, well take our choice of Fantilli or Carlsson, and move forward.

I think Fantilli and Bedard aren't all that far off. Obviously Bedard is better, but Fantilli would go 1st overall in the past, I'd say, 6 or so drafts.

Blackhawks aren’t moving Bedard and Anaheim isn’t paying to get Bedard, simple as that.

I think Chicago would do that if the 1st rounders were all unprotected, Anaheim would be ass for those 3 years

In your past 6 drafts do we have hindsight of development or are we judging based on predraft hype at the time of their respective drafts? If we go by hype I'd say fantilli would go 1st in past 5, I don't think he's more hyped than what Austin Matthews was expected to be. But if we have hindsight how many teams wouldn't take cale Makar over fantilli. I'd hear debates for Jack Hughes in either scenario

Nah I think Hughes still would’ve gone ahead of Fantilli and maybe Lafreniere

I've heard they are a world apart, and I've heard they are closer than anyone wants to admit.

Time will tell, we have a coach who should ensure that the youth develop barring freak injuries, but Fantillinhas the body that should be able to handle it better.

I hope Chicago gets Bedard some protection, they only just started the teardown, I think they end up in a Hall situation instead of a McDavid situation.

My guess to acquire Bedard from Chicago would be;
Trevor Zegras
Pavel Mintyukov
Olen Zellweger
2023 1st
2024 1st

IMO the difference between them is about the same as the 2015 draft of McDavid and Eichel.

ANA will have to do a whole lot better than that, if they want Bedard.
