You don’t draft by need lol. Musty is at least 3 years out, the current lineup is irrelevant.

Now after reading more rumors, I do agree with you now. It won't involve Bolduc at all. I believe it was gonna be Krug going to Philly. Then Sanheim and Hayes would come to the Blues. Dunno if there's other pieces involved. But now Krug isn't willing to waive his NTC or something like that. So I still think the trade will happen, it might take longer now.

For trade 2, I actually posted the same one, except without Dach. But based on comments, people were saying it was too little value. Dubois can also play LW.

Lines could be:

Slafkovsky-Suzuki-Caufield
Dubois-Dvorsky-Leonard
Farrell-Roy-Mesar


Happy to give my thoughts; this is a cool project and your prospect descriptions are very informative.

I think the commenters are right that the original package isn't enough for Dubois, but adding Dach is more than doubling the value, so the deal would have to be constructed very differently for him to be included.

It's Dach > Dubois >>>> Dvorak + Ylonen + 31OA imo

Nothing wrong with those lines, but we could have Dach on the first line, slide Slafkovsky down to the second line, and accomplish the same thing with a younger, less expensive player who doesn't have attitude problems. Plus, we wouldn't have to give up a 1st.

It's insane. Dude might even get the DeBrincat trade predicted (which isn't that crazy considering the rumors, but it's still very good)

Fun fact: I did predict the Flyers trading Hayes to the Blues. But the return is really off.

All the Flyers got was a 2024 6th round pick. The Flyers got fleeced in this deal, Hayes is signed for 3 years and had 54 points in 81 games.
