LA doesnt have the cap to sign PLD to an extension with a bunch of raises due in 2024 and this isnt a price they'll pay for a rental. Montreal again is the only spot unless a team like San Jose starts bidding. The contenders simply dont have the cap flexbility til the cap ceiling moves.

Yes its only Freidge but if LAK is talking to PLD, then Im sure its about an extension...lol

Can't see the Hawk deal happening. Murphy has a modified NMC 10 team no trade....which is the first hurdle. Value is probably ok...but it would involve the Hawks having to flip Pionk to get the value they would want for Murphy which probably starts getting real complicated with Gawanke (who I think went home and demanded a trade because he can't get a chance at the NHL level) as Hawks have Jones, Pionk, and Zaitsev in his way in Chicago.

many teams want a RD. I just want a big RD so thats why I did a swap

Fridge said in March that PLD was going to MTL at 95% so yeah theres that little tidbit. Its hype nothing more. A simple cap search shows that LAK cant extend him. Listening exclusively to chatter online is a recipe for bias and nonsense.
