If they're swapping 1sts, I would do that for WPG. It just didn't make sense to completely give up a 1st for Sanheim.

Winnipeg should pass on that. Sanheim doesn't fill a need and his extension looks pretty bad right now.

Could use a Center prospect going forward, might have a pick or prospect to add to it on Winnipegs side. Or possibly a goalie even. Could be an interesting blockbuster.

If Hellebuyck moves on, I would add a forward prospect and a 2nd for Hart and make it a blockbuster

I can respect that, I fully expect him to bounce back and think it was an off year but yeah I wouldnt really want to trade for his contract either as another team

Feels a little light for philly

Since Hayes was worth a 6th it sounds like Sanheims value is/was Krug and a first. say that translates to schmidt + the first. is Heinola (who is yet to break into the NHL) really worth a first.
i Know WPG 1st is 18th and the pick from STL wouldve propably been 25th or 29th. but is it really worth shipping Sanheim to move up 4 spots?

You might do it if Perreault or Benson slips in the draft otherwise i dont see the huge upgrade in moving up
