The Caps and Flyers would probably do those trades. Not sure about the other teams

It costs more to go up 5-10 picks

Yes. But still doesn't mean those teams would do it

I hope the blues don't trade up and I don't think they will trade up. They are looking to move their later picks for younger players or defensmen so they won't have the assets to move up

I think it’s either the Flyers or Caps who move to 5th to take Michkov.

Feels like NSH is paying considerably more than the other teams, to me.

I’d love to see Nashville trade up, but that’s too much. Kemell looked really good in Milwaukee. 2 firsts, 2 seconds, a third, arguably Nashville’s top prospect, and a top 4 defenseman is way too much.

Moving up 10 spots costs more.

Are you saying that Fabbro in Nashville's top 4 or would be a top 4 defenseman on most teams? I have not watched him much, so I am genuinely asking. He does not seem to add much offence from the blueline, but I know that is not the be all and end all.

Riiiight, but there's expensive and then there's holy crap you cannot be serious. Somehow, from WASH at 8 to STL at 10, the price skyrocketed by Bolduc, an extra 23 1st AND taking your crap dump. That's nuts. And the Blues almost certainly have no interest in moving up unless it gets them Fantilli, which ain't happening at 5.

Arizona and Detroit should also consider. St-Louis and Nashville are too far in the draft to be in the mix.

He’s borderline right now in my opinion. Before the last half of this past year I wouldn’t have even called him a top 4 defenseman in Nashville. However, when all the injuries happened, he stepped up and looked capable of being a top 4 guy. I think this year will be huge for him in determining where his career goes. If he can build off of how he finished last season, I think Nashville has a good one.

Trading down from 5 to 10 is a pretty big deal in any draft, even one as deep as this.

Nah. Much less so this time around. Do you really think there's a huge gap between Smith and Moore or Dvorsky or Danielson or even Ritchie? Or a big gap between, say, Reinbacher and Willander/Simashev/Sandin Pelikka? Between Leonard and Benson/Barlow/Honzek? Not for me. Either way, that ask is... erm... extravagant, let's say.
