Very nice contract for someone that showed good progress this year and looks to be a top 4 defenseman in DC for years to come.

Fehervary is steadily growing into a very nice Top 4 Defensive Defensemen and while his analytics aren't amazing yet he's been steadily improving over time, His skating and physicality has already managed to piss off Crosby on a few occasions already for some reason lol. Love the player, love the contract.

solid contract for a young player with a lot of upside & continual progress. great price to lock down at the very least a middle pairing defenceman for a couple years. easy to move when the time comes, all around a great contract for a young & developing player.

His skating is actually insane. Being able to keep up with the best skaters in the league. I remember him keeping up with Barzal him going back and worth and every which way keeping position. Love the kid

Will he? I don't think he is in the top 4 best defencemen Washington has right now. ... Never mind. I just checked and they are weak on the left side. He did have the worst on-ice goal differential above expected in the Caps defence core this year, but he's young. He's got time to learn.
