I know, Wings fans, Detroit would never trade Berggren. I disagree; I think the questionable free agency adds are showing the internal pressure for DET to win now, and Debrincat gets you there quicker than Berggren.

Your take on our not that questionable free agency adds hold no weight. I don't believe there is any internal pressure. They are building through the draft and just filling Holes temporarily with free agents

It has been the same message for the last few seasons... there is no pressure to make a run and go for it, and Yzerman is quoted saying that in multiple press conferences. He overspends in FA, doesn't rush to make trades, and doesn't like go term crazy in lengthy signings.

Yzerman said that it would take longer than fans wanted in his introductory press conference(thanks Holland). Fans may be getting impatient, but there’s no pressure from the organization.

As the Sens new GM, I wouldn’t sign Tarasenko but Tatar and keep Joseph (stop spending picks stupidly to repair all those mistakes). I would sign ZAR but not Leivo

It would take much more than a few late picks for the Hawks to take on 3 yrs of a contract. Pass from the Blackhawks
