Arizona declines in a heart beat.....wouldn't move Guenther alone for that package.

I wouldn't mind switching the second to a first rounder, but that's all/the maximum I'd really be willing to do.

I love K'Andre, but there's no universe that he's worth a top prospect, a really good top six forward with term, AND taking on a cap dump. The second round pick doesn't move the needle

Would you do it if I switched the second to a first?

I do not think that would move the needle much. Guenther is pretty much untouchable I would think.

What other decent prospect would be available if not Guenther?

I am not a Yotes fan so I do not know their system as well as some others but maybe Soderstrom? I know he had some hype when he was drafted but really hasn't panned out yet. I would imagine they would be open to moving one of their RFA forwards. (McBain or Maccelli) I really do not think they would be moving any top prospects though.

Yes obviously the best way to unload a cap dump is for another team's top prospect.

I'll offer you Garland and Ekman Larsson?

Both Dylan Guenther (DRAFT YEAR: 2021DRAFTED OVERALL: 9 - DRAFT ROUND:1) and K'Andre Miller (DRAFT YEAR: 2018 - DRAFTED OVERALL: 22 - DRAFT ROUND:1) are comparable players. The Yotes are in full rebuild mode and the Rangers defense is a strong point of their roster. Just looking at these two, I don't see the attraction for either side. Forgetting the draft pick, Schmaltz for Goodrow has absolutely no appeal to a Yotes fan (I'm a Ranger fan). Ginandtacos hit the nail on the head as to the motivation.

Yotes decline this and I’d have to imagine goodrow has ARI on his 15 teams list.

Considering that the Yotes are in a rebuild, wouldn’t hey rather have a player who is younger than Miller and is one of my most hyped prospects in the league.
