Calgary accepts but Toronto wants more coming from Columbus otherwise they'd be better off just trading Nylander for Hanifin straight up. Make it Marchenko instead of Peeke and Calgary can add a 3rd round pick or B prospect too.

Before someone says Nylander is worth more not as a pending UFA looking for 10 mil plus on his next contract he isn't.

Or Toronto could just give Nylander away for future considerations, basically the same thing as this proposal.

While I understand why Calgary would want more form Columbus. Consider that Columbus doesn't need Hanifin with their Depth on D, especially since he is on the left side as well. I don't see this trade as positive for any of the teams and would think all would pass. And you're not getting Marchenko lol

It isn't Calgary that wants more, it's Toronto.

Nylander > Hanifin >> Peeke

Hence why I suggested Marchenko replaces Peeke and Calgary adds a pick/prospect.

Yea, that makes more sense with Toronto wanting more. However, Columbus has no need for Hanifin so so I still think the deal falls through, let alone add more piece from Calgary or Colimbus.
