As a Hawks fan. Not a big fan of that at all. If Goodrow had 2 years left. I'd be more willing to look into the deal a bit more, but 4 years??? Nah, you can buy him out.

I think it takes more than that to dump Goodrow just because there’s so many years left on his contract.

Josh Bailey took a 2nd round pick to move 1 year at 5m; you think it's only gonna cost a 2nd to move 4 years at 3.6m in a time where money is extremely hard to move. It starts with that 2024 1st and could even include someone like Zac Jones on top if you don't want to retain anything

I concur (well not the part about Bedard) that a 2nd does not even get a conversation going. Gonna need a 1st and probably then some. No one is taking Goodrow for a late 2nd.
