Don't think you should have hit the submit button when over the cap with 21 man roster and bonuses to pay.
The Ranger and Flyer trade seem fair but an overpayment for one year of Helly and Perron doesn't waive.

If I'm Drury I take this deal and run. Chiarot's contract is rough but Raymond and a 1st more than make up for it.

Oh don’t get me wrong, I would have liked him in Detroit over Chiarot/Holl/etc. He is a leader, wants to win, and will do whatever he thinks is needed. Two games vs OTT that sealed the Wings fate would have looked differently if a guy like him is in the lineup.

I’m just saying this personal one overpaying is not a reflection on the majority.

Rangers easily accept that, I get trouba is a good leader, and he’s physical but he’s been pretty bad other than that both offensively and defensively along with his 8 million dollar contract. Raymond, a first and a second is a lot of value. Rangers take that and run. Trouba won’t get traded ever till his ntc is up at least.
