Rags match that and then spend the Summer figuring out what they have to attach to Goodrow to make him go away. Even though an offersheet likely does not result in Laf changing teams at a 2nd round pick level....I absolutely would stick it to the Rags as they were not overly generous with the Kane trade when they had the Hawks over the barrel (of Kane basically picking 1 team) and putting them over the barrel in return would be payback.

At the end of the day it could have been Kane + 2024 2nd RD pick for Laf + 2023 2nd RD pick ... I think that is justice for the bad return on Kane.

You were never getting Lafreniere for Kane 😂 🫵 and your fanbase was delusional for thinking it

The Hawks or some team could certainly do an offer sheet. Rangers fans can kick and scream the Rangers would match that 4.3m.....bit getting rid of Goodrow's M NTC cap is difficult, maybe impossible unless it's a buyout.

Ah yes, now the crybaby offersheet threat. Good luck with it, I'm sure it will happen and be successful. Poor boy, a team won't accept your trade offers so you're going to take your ball and go home. LOL

So it is the Rangers fault that Patrick Kane backed the Hawks GM into a corner and said NYC or nothing? If you want to blame someone for the return, blame Kane. And the way he played for the Rangers, what you got was an overpay.
