Brodie is actually an ld technically who plays both sides. But regardless turning down a large talent upgrade is silly

Regardless, he's older, more expensive, and has less team control than Lauzon. He's not a difference maker for NSH. Lauzon holds more value for NSH, long term.

No he plays both sides well. And he's a top end defensive defenseman. The fact that people think the Leafs should trade him is craziness

Leafs should hold onto him then. He doesnt fit nashvilles window due to age. He may be an upgrade now but it is a waste of younger assets because nashville isnt cup competitive. They have bigger needs to improvement (center) and tieing up an additions 4 mil in cap (difference between lauzon and brodie) eats up most of their remaining cap.
