That extra 4 million can make possible an extension to Nylander and adding another top six winger.

Voit seems solid but a late 1st and a decent prospect is maybe about half of TK’s value

The Kadri contract isn’t really a bad contract. $7M for a top 6 centre that plays well defensively and has some physicality to his game isn’t that bad, especially with the cap going up. It might be a little long, but the last 3 years are easily bought out if needed. Kadri still has value on the trade market, could get a much better return for Calgary

I will he amazed if Tavares trades in his Leafs pajamas for another team.

Would be a real funny PR move to read about though, "Leafs force hometown kid and current captain to waive NMC".
