Wow, take out Raymond and maybe from the Wings? That is such an awful trade for us.

Even worse is you don't even have Raymond in the line up. He literally has more points than Laf in one less season.

You're right that Detroit declines, but this trade takes place in 24-25 when Trouba's NMC expires and he has a 15 team no trade list. I don't think his hometown team would be on his no trade list.

Still do not think Raymond is on the block to get Trouba. Why would Wings entertain this trade? It has nothing to do with or without Trouba's NMC as you say, it has everything to do with Raymond

Why would he block it? He can go home to Michigan and be with his best friend (Copp) on an up and coming team

He probably wouldn't since his M-NTC would have started, I misread his contract details. That doesn't change that Detroit wouldn't be interested.
