I don’t think the Wings trade is super far off in terms of value but it really doesn’t solve much for the caps.

The Sharks trade doesn’t make sense for either team and is declined by both.

Habs trade way favors Montreal. Caps easily decline.

I am one of those caps fans that would laugh at a 2nd and Mantha for Anderson...

Would take Mantha over Anderson all day everyday.

You're likely not alone
But im on the side that wouldnt trade Anderson
I love Gallagher but if we gotta make Cap Crunch Calls for long term contracts.
I gotta cut Gally as unlike Anderson he wont be operational in a few years as he's injured longer each year.

Plus he plays big vs all our Rivals
He puts butts in seats and steps up when usually the habs are struggling the last few years.
He keeps games vs TML/BOS and OTT from being blow outs
