I am not so sure. I think it's too much but it's not far off. I think getting one of Niemela or Minten is the best your are going to get out of TO. Zadorov won't cost much in addition if they can make the cap work though.

NYR isn’t doing that. Schneider is going to be part of their core for their true window. The last 2 seasons and next 2 are simply preludes that if they can make a run they will but not at this expense

Teams do move firsts for guys like tanev, I don't think adams would do it at this point in the teams development. Teams that are ready to push all of their chips in on one season do that. Of course, chances are you would rather have the Sabres first, than the avs or lightning.
