From what I've heard, Sillinger is untouchable, but maybe that will change with Fantili. No need for a goalie back so remove Daniil and the 3rd. It's probably an overpay from Boston's end honestly, but it's close.
Sillinger isn't untouchable, I think a lot of the flak people get when trading for him is they look at his past season (which was very bad) and then try to buy low in him, which CBJ aren't having. He looks like he should be a 3C floor, probably 2C ceiling. Great work ethic, defensively responsible, and when he's not absurdly unlucky he can score.
The Daniil inclusion might be less for Boston's sake and more for Columbus' sake...he and Elvis are both waivers-ineligible, so we'd have to either send a goalie out in a trade to bring one back, or risk losing one on waivers (or trade him separately, which would also be fine).
Overall, I'm very intrigued. It fills a need with a goalie that's been underrated. Even behind a bad Buffalo team, Ullmark has had some pretty decent numbers, so I think he's probably top-10 in the league even without Boston's stacked defense and system from last season.
My only reservation is that we'd be selling low on all three pieces. Boqvist has looked like a top-4 option...when healthy (which he wasn't). Sillinger looks like a decent 2C...when he's not in a terrible sophomore slump in a god-awful system (like he was last year). And Tarasov looks like a good 1B, with potential to take the starting role...when the team is even okay in front of him (which they weren't).
