Description

This will likely get lit up by Leaf fans and I understand why. I know Steeves has minimal experience, but I think the only way to have a reasonable season cap-wise is to get rid of Laff, Timmins and Jarnkrok. And I totally understand the thought behind keeping Jarnkrok and rolling with an 11/7 approach. This is just the solution I came up with. MacDermid could swap out with Giordano on nights and ride that waiver train. I doubt either get claimed.

Oh MacDermid isn't there to fill a role. He's entirely a dump on our end. If it was just Laf and Timmins coming I would've asked for a 4th and a 7th. Because I included MacDermid I bumped the 7th to a 5th. I fully expect y'all to burry him.

Oh yeah, forgot that McMann was up the pipeline above Steeves. I think Steeves makes sense to stay with the Marlies.

It's not very realistic for a rebuilding team to drop draft capital on a player they don't need when they already have too many forwards heading into camp.

Totally fair. There's just not too many teams with cap space available to do the moves that Toronto needs. It's not a great situation lol
