Devils accept, but full disclosure--Stillman is super mid

I think Connor could get more, not much more but Savoie and a 1st is a good start

Buffalo has zero interest in Connor, the value isn't terrible though.

Winnipeg has no incentive to sell low in all those deals.

he is but he's an energy guy so to me that makes up for the mid offensive numbers.

Bad value for Kyle Connor

The Niederreiter and Hellebuyck trades are the only semi reasonable ones here imo. Think Hellebuyck should get slightly more though, like a more interesting prospect than Stillman.
And Niederreiter's retention should be a 3rd atleast.

Rather have Frederic, Lauko, 1st + 2nd than Scheifele

What are you looking for in place of Stillman? I personally don't have him in the Devils' top 10 prospects, so 'more interesting' could mean Graeme Clarke or Zakhar Bardakov

Yeah as I suppose Holtz and Nemec are complete no-goes, maybe someone like Clarke or a good RD prospect (don't really know who that may be though) 🙂

Off the table - Hughes, Nemec, Holtz, Schmid
'A' prospects - Casey, Gritsyuk
'B' prospects - Hameenaho, Foote, Vilen, Clarke, Daws

I might consider Holtz one for one, but I don't know how realistic that is
Casey and Gritsyuk probably don't get traded, since afaik Chevy hates small defensemen and Gritsyuk is under contract in the KHL
Everyone else is a minor piece imo, but it should be noted that Fitz and co are probably high on Stillman, and the Devils fanbase at large is high on Filmon

Outside of Nemec and Casey our RD prospects are Cheslock, Hurtig, Leddy, and Barabosha. They're whatever, Cheslock is probably the best of them

You are getting Kyle Connor for magic beans. As good as Savoie can be he hasnt got there. You'd be crazy NOT to jump on this offer. Buffalo isnt in cap trouble. This is exactly the type of deal you make if you want to take another step.



Be a very tough look for Winnipeg. Essentially saying that you cant afford your own guys anymore and are in an endless rebuild much like Buffalo the last decade.

These are all awful. Why are the Jets moving Connor at all, let alone after a "down" year?
