Habs have no reason to do this, As much as i dont think hes great hes got good value and its more than a 3rd. Especially since they just drafted his brother with a 4th

Hawks decline. If that's the offer they just hang on to TRad. Rather have a finisher like Raddysh than a set up guy like Dellandrea.

Xhekaj is worth so much more economically to the Canadiens. I would take a massive return for them to let him go. Fan favorite, Beloved teammate and he can play hockey and he got the edge to is game that will make other team fear. He is huge, he can fit three water bottle in is freaking hand.

Both trades are pointless and bad for the Stars.

Rather just run with what we have.

Idk. I think there is much more to Dellandrea's game than just being a setup guy, but his playmaking is a bonus. I like Raddysh, but he is kind of boom or bust in that, if he can't take his offense to the next level and do it consistently, there isn't much else to his game that is desirable. Whereas, Dellandrea is a high motor, hard worker, defensively responsible forward, that looks to be someone coaches can trust in most situations. Who knows, though. If you would've asked me a year ago, I would've told you Dellandrea was a tweener and not very interesting. I think Raddysh is definitely better offensively, but the versatility of Dell cannot be denied and would likely be an upgrade on most of CHI's current bottom 9 forwards.

Probably still takes more than what is being offered, but, personally, I don't hate it. Maybe upgrade the pick to a 2nd or something. I just think Dellandrea is more valuable than your comment gives him credit for, I guess is all I'm saying. But, to each their own.

With the 18 forwards the Hawks have taken in the past two drafts, I can't see them having interest in another young F unless it's a guy who's got legit top 6 potential. Dellandrea isn't that to me. If the Hawks aren't getting a young RD prospect in a trade for TRad, Kyle from Chicago just goes for a better pick(s) or he hangs on to TRad.

Sure. But that is just a matter of preference and has nothing to do with Dellandrea's trade value. Which I totally get it, if that is your/CHI's preference, but I do think the value is closer in this proposal than you initially gave it credit for. Although Dellandrea didn't have as good offensively of a 22-23 season as Raddysh, his development curve based on age is more promising than Raddysh at the same age, and he has a lot more desirable qualities outside of his offensive upside. Let's not forget Dell was a 13th overall pick, there is some high end pedigree there. Plus, he is only 23 and only has one full NHL season under his belt, and that one full season showed a lot of potential.
