Devils aren't interested in Kahkonen and there isn't room for Barabanov unless there's an injury

Depending on how some of SEA's new acquisitions shake out and assuming SEA is making the playoffs, SEA would accept that.

Just trying to stack you up to make that 2nd turn into a 1st.

I don't see Benning going anywhere.

Also, Barab should get just a 2nd at the TDL, if he wants to go.
He seems like he enjoys it here.

While it is appreciated, I don't see either of these players pushing anyone currently on the roster, or even those looking to pop from the AHL.

I think Barab would be better than Lazar. Even a few others.
He's a solid winger.

Take out Benning, and drop the 3rd to either a 4th or a 5th, and Canes probably accept.

I think Duclair would be a good pickup. I like Benning and that contract but we have like 18 defensemen as it is so he probably wouldn't be of any use to the Canes rn. Could also see them asking about Barabanov.

But Lazar wouldn't even be a starter now. I'm just talking starters. I would pay for a better scratch with Chase either.

So we not wanting Holtz to develop? Or give him a fair chance since last season he wasnt given a chance. But thats the world we live in give up on young players for no reason. So barab comes in and send holtz down, i only see this trade if Holtz struggle and needs to get his game back, but come on stop the panic
