Tampa Bay declines. They aren't trading away Perbix for one year of Gryz to play on their 3rd pair. And Tampa doesn't play w/ undersized D men.

Columbus says no to the first and Winnipeg says no to the Boston trade.

Your losing your touch lol, I think colombus deal is awful for Winnipeg and they would love to get out from under Elvis, but I’m sure plenty will say otherwise

Actually you're right. I thought everyone would whine about CLB giving up their first, so I threw them a bone! grin

CBJ take that and run. Bean and Bemstrom are expendable. Paying the 24 1st to get out of Elvis's deal AND get 1 cheap year of Hellebuyck is massive value.

Peeke and sillinger would have me intrigued, possibly a blockbuster there, depending on Columbus appetite for rentals or veteran adds to add to nucleus.

Personally, I'm not interested in something like that. Baring trading one of the surplus D men they have, I think they should just stand pat with what they have rn, at least till the deadline. Only reason I'd even be interested in this is because the value is massively in their favor. I think a fair value trade for a rental would be a mistake given the situation they're in rn.

Ya probably best for Columbus, would love a 20 ish given up on first round Center to drop in Winnipegs lap somehow, dire need to throw a few kids at 1c and 2c and see what sticks.
