Laf for his struggles is still worth a lot more than Sillinger. That plus the fact that the Rangers are already well set at center, the Rangers decline

Sillinger reached NHL as 18-year old. Lafreniere, as 19-year old. It’s was too early to be calling them busts.

If they are not in top-6 by year 6….maybe. But not yet.

Rangers decline. Laf's not for sale and even with his struggles is worth more than Sillinger.

If Laffy is traded, it’s the off-season going into 2024-25

They’re giving him 1 more chance under a new coach

I’m curious what are we viewing as progress to keep him. I don’t see him going from 39 points to 70-80 points. How are we determining what is a successful year vs giving up on him?

I don’t know maybe 50-60? Plus his work ethic and energy level. Some times he looks extremely lazy and not engaged
