That's quite the underpayment for Ehlers, at least on 1st rd pick short of fair value. The Jets would get a lot better offers from other teams if Ehlers were made available for trade.

Penguins and Panthers trades are also egregiously favorable for the Habs.

agreed, i was caving too much into what too many MTL fans think their players are worth. I always get accused of having too much negative bias so I tried to adjust a bit thinking it would be more balanced.

Not saying the value is bad... But I hate what you did here.

Habs are gonna build with their prospects, not like this.

As was stated above, the Ehlers trade is a 1st short, also the Girard trade is a bit short and makes no sense for Montreal since the only reason we would move Harris is to get a short term RHD to allow Reinbacher and Barron to develop further. The rest is meh for me lol

So the Hawks take on over $16M in salary for a meh prospect and a 2nd round pick while giving up a young speedster? Not only do the Hawks decline but they block your number.

And before you come back with the "these players are better than current Hawks players" nonsense, this team isn't built to win right now, they're built to develop. That means playing the young goalies and forwards, not blocking them with retreads.

You'd need to pay to dump Dvorak elsewhere and then add some more quality for Ehlers.

Hawks decline. Tuch and a 2nd might not even cover dumping the Allen and Armia contracts. Definitely doesn't get Kurashev as well.

Avs decline. Not enough there to interest them in moving Girard.

Drop Girard and take Manson instead. Harris and pick (3rd or 4th) as return.
