While Briere has been great for the most part so far, him turning down a 1st + 2nd for Laughton is as egregious as Hughes reportedly turning down a 1st for Anderson. I doubt he’ll get a better offer than that

By an objective value standard Laughton isn't worth anywhere near that. You can literally trade for close to a star player for that package.

I have demonstrated that Joseph is actually very close to as productive offensively at ES but much better defensively and on the PK. They have the same contract, Joseph is 3 years younger and a better skater
