No from Winnipeg. Its not realistic to expect them to retain and trade a 1C for a 1st that already has conditions on it and likely can't be traded, a cap dump and a couple valueless players

You can start with Coyle's M NTC would include the Jets as a "no go":

Boston is not doing either of these. Coyle blocks with NTC as well.

I guess on paper, Beecher being a young C and Bussi being a young (ish) G along with the 1st and 3rd makes sense for the jets if they were rebuilding, but they are better off trying to compete and dealing Scheifle at the deadline if they arent

From my perspective, there is no trade with Winnipeg until they get clarity on Hellebuyck. If he’s open to staying, I don’t believe a trade between Boston and Winnipeg is even feasible. According to Friedman, he’s willing to listen but that’s a far distance away from retracting his comments.

If he continues to push for bringing traded, then I think that opens up a potential trade with Swayman and Merkulov included. Age and control vs position versatility.

I think the more likely scenario is that it stalls until closer to the deadline. The Bruins get to see what Zacha can do plus the development of Poitras and Merkulov at center.

I don’t believe you will see Scheifele in a Bruins uniform unless he makes it to free agency, but things can change.

I don’t understand the Vancouver trade at all. We lack picks. Our best prospect plays the same position as him. I would rather they give Lysell a shot to stick with the team. I’m still of the belief that his growth is completely driven by how seriously he takes the preparation, because his skill set is elite. There are very few players in the league that can match his combination of offensive talents if he puts it together
