Hintz is the 3rd best player on his line, he's roughly on par with Lindholm (both are top 13-17 centers in my opinion but neither is top 10).

Stutzle and Thompson need to play even a mild amount of defense before they can be even considered above Barkov, Eichel, Zibanejad, and Aho. So far they've shown almost zero defensive ability

Defensively, Eichel and Zibanejad shouldn’t be in same group as Aho and Barkov (who are perennial Selke candidates).

Zibanejad is ok defensively but in reality he's above those 3 players due to consistency. Eichel actually has a very good 2-way game.

Barkov is probably the best 2-way center in the league now that Bergeron's retired He should be way up on the list next to Matthews

Barkov is a stud. Has had a couple injuries and slumps in recent years, but the overall body of work should staple him inside top-10.

Anyone who can put up a top-3 Selke seasons while scoring 80+ points and wearing the "C" for playoff team should be top-10.

why does everyone underrate Jack Eichel? Before COVID he was pretty much a hart candidate. And in his first season being somewhat healthy since then, he lead his team to a cup. I think people really underrate his two-way ability.

Pettersson is by far the best 2-way center in the NHL.
