How is ekholm on here but not nurse that doesn’t make any sense I’m pretty sure nurse is the #1 defensemen on the oilers

Because Ekholm is the best dman on the Oilers while Nurse is the 2nd/3rd best on the Oilers. Ekholm is an elite 2 way dman, and played especially great after getting traded to Edmonton

Not bad, agree with most of the top 20 I’d maybe order them differently but not a crazy difference, love the Spurgeon and Andersson love haha I’d throw Chabot in the honourable mentions but that’s splitting hairs really lol

In terms of upside with Seider, sky's the limit. But right now he isn't close to a top 20 Dmen.

Seider could easily be in that conversation this season, but until he does it, he hasn't done it. Ekblad, Weegar, Dunn all clear him right now, and people were WAY too quick to forget Werenski, who is better than all of them, as well as a few others on the list.

Ehh what? Ekholm averages 30-something points per season with scraps for PP time, has well above average transition numbers and he's a near elite outlet passer. Sounds pretty two-way to me.
