One of Evangelista or Kemell is most likely required in any Zegras deal.

I would also say Askarov would get the conversation started very quickly. I doubt y'all would want to part with him though.

They already have Dostal as their potential Gibson replacement in a couple of seasons, who they seem pretty high on though

I agree, he's the better prospect so that's probably who they'd want and I cant see NSH trading Kemell just yet so I changed the trade.

I’ve proposed Svechkov, Evangelista, 1st in another post— I think something like that gets it done. Not sure if Trotz wants to give that much up though. I don’t think Zegras is ever going to be a 100 point player, but he’s a solid top 6 forward (does he stay at center or move to wing?) that should be good for close to a ppg player in his prime.

It'd be a shame for zegras to go from the ugly annaheim jerseys to the ugly Nashville jerseys but this is the first zegras trade I've seen that actually makes sense for the acquiring team. He could grow to be Nashville's long coveted 1C if he could learn some defense and win some faceoffs.

Zegras is fine defensively. This whole "idea" that he needs to learn how to play defense is just silly. He can't play every position and the defensemen on his team were pretty much AHLers last year (with the exception of Fowler).

While this type of trade makes sense for Nashville, I don't think it's enough to get Zegras. Probably replace Lauzon and a 2nd with another high end prospect like Wood, Kemmel, or Molendyk
