Why not? Boston did and now they can afford to get a good return on one goalie while still having another one! Goalies are such a risk just look at your recent history with Murray or Edmonton right now with Campbell, just cause you paid Korpisalo doesn’t mean he’s going to be the answer.

Why not? Cap restraints. The AGM already has a team retaining on Swayman and that's just going to get worse going foward. It's hard to apportion a large amount of cap to a position who's players will only play half the games.

Still your allotting what 9 mil to goalies or 10% of the future cap for a very important position and if Korpisalo struggles this team goes from playoffs to lottery pick and that would be a huge disappointment, you may be right but I’m one that prefers caution and as Swayman Korpisalo tandem would give me a lot less concern than Forsberg Korpisalo

My issue with this is the Norris's uncertain status. If he's hurt again/still, can we really run with Greig as the 2C? I don't think so and this year we don't have a Brassard type player as insurance. And while it's not a bad return, I worry about the message this would send to Korpisalo who was just signed long term to be the #1.
