Would be the best for Lafrenière to play with Norris and Tarasenko but does OTT have the patience for a struggling ex 1OA pick? This is what I am unsure about.

Good point. I do think a Lafreniere trade makes the most sense for a team like Philly or Montreal . A more middle of the pack team that doesn’t have playoff aspirations for another couple of years

What would it take from the Hawks roster for him? In your opinion? They've got the patience.

I'm not sure. But I do know Drury likes American prospects. I'm a little too unfamiliar with the prospects of CHI. But a Laffy and Bedard chemistry should be the start of a new franchise. I don't know what CHI would be conformable giving up? Like a Oliver Moore plus something? Would thar be too much? 🤔

All depends on how each GM views Moore I guess. Whether Kyle Davidson's comments are true or not...I don't know, but supposedly he tried to trade up to draft Moore and didn't have any takers...ironically he fell to the Hawks anyway. Again, is that a true story? IDK, but that would be twice in two drafts where Kyle Davidson claims his player fell to him.

With Vasilevskiy out for a while...would you consider that TBL 1st of "high" quality along side another piece maybe?

How about Donato, Nazar and TBL first? for Laffy and Zachary Jones? Donator because Laffy needs roster spot opening up. Nazar is a hit and miss. It is a bit of overpay from CHI but at the same time they are not competing for cup this year.

Seems like a lot. Isn't Othmann playing much better than Laf in the preseason so far?

Struggled too in top 6 role to be honest. And in fact everyone has been struggling in the top 6 with exception of Kakko.

You want Lafreniere to break out? Then do this :

Tkachuk - Stutzle - Tarasenko
Lafreniere - Norris - Batherson
Kubalik - Greig - Giroux
Joseph - Kastelic - MacEwen

That's a gamble I'd be ready to do for the Sens. I mean, Pinto is going to be great but Greig and Jarventie are centers (Giroux could be a stop gap too), Ostapchuk too. With Stuzle, Norris and Kastelic, there's only 1 Center spot available long term. Lafreniere fits the needs better

Note : You need Tarasenko to produce offense to be relevant. Best way to do that is with Tkachuk and Stutzle. Also, never break the Norris-Batherson duo. Greig needs Giroux's mentorship
