No reason for the Bruins to make that move. The downgrade they're getting isn't worth the cap savings + third rounder

As an oilers fan Boston says no immediately to that I would say add a 1st and high end prospect and keep the third and takeout the 5th and even then boston probably says no

Don't see how a 1st and 3rd 3 years down the road + a 2nd this year is enough to get out of those contracts, even Campbell alone maybe. That's before even considering who you're trading with and their needs.

as much as I'd love for they flyers to get another first, we already have Petersen at 5mill, I don't think we can take on another goalie for 5mill
