I am not concerend with attendance figures. In all sports throughout north america - both major and minor - attendance since the lift of the covid lockdowns have been down leagues wide. This is in part of inflation. It costs too much money to go out to a game even a minor league one like the CFL for most families struggling to keep the lights on heat pumping and fridge full. However, with all these leagues, as long as people still watch on tv, they are making money. The money is in the tv deals. The attendance and concessions are just a bonus.

Jets negative press is ridiculous, richest owner in the league, built condos around the rink downtown, and doubled their purchase price. Times are tough everywhere, better test will be attendance on a Thursday Friday sat night.

Garland has "little to no value right now" yet you have him on the first line.

To get him going what would be the point of taking on his 5M with 3yrs left to play him on the 3rd line

If the Jets want bottom 6 depth, I'd get Kubalik from Ottawa for barely nothing. Sens need the cap space, Jets have it and he is on a 1yr rental. Good on the Power Play and good depth peace as Jets wait for guys like Mcgraty, Barlow, Lucius & Lambert to mature.

Dreger mentioned on a Toronto radio hit that the Jets season ticket base is at 9,500. I think Chipman should actually give an interview to local media about this instead of using Dreger to leak information.

Jets got to give there head a shake and not pretend that they can go heads up against the big boys of the league, they are a small market, they can’t just do things to appease there fans on the hockey side, and need to bend over backwards for the fans on the game day side. I think they just sent the team back 15 years with those two extensions, basically a double little/wheeler contract, that only ends well if it doesn’t end well for the players. Redoing past mistakes and not learning is tough to wrap one’s head around, but die hard for a reason, just wish they understood who they are, crank up the scouting, change out the gm and let’s get atter, but too late for that, now need to be an miracle worker, drafting mid, playing mid hockey, and a bounce or too in or out of playoffs.

This isn't true.
-The MLB just topped 70m for the first time since since 2017.
-The NFL had highest per game attendance since 2016 last year (total attendance was record was set, due to the added game).
-The NBA was 97% capacity last season and had a record number of sellouts.
-NHL last year 22.4m total attendance (all time high). It had average attendance was 17.1k last year down slightly from it's peak, but AZ also plays in an arena that only seats 5k people.
