Canes are trying to win. None of those pieces help with that. Garland is another undersized winger that we have

Mayfield doesn't waive to Canucks. Pesce doesn't waive to Canucks, and as noted above, nothing in it for the Cup contending Canes.
Sens have no cap.

VGK is looking to repeat as the return is fair Roy is a very important piece and that pick doesn't help for 2 years at best. So they politely pass

Canes aren’t moving out core pieces in the middle of the season when they are trying to contend for the cup. And again, that package wouldn’t even open up negotiations for Pesce.

The way he's playing this year, Beauvillier would be lucky to fetch a 4th round draft pick.

No chance I'd give up a 2025 1st for Roy. He isn't a piece to make us a cup contender, and our prospect pool is still pretty weak. Don't mortgage your future for a mediocre now.

I wouldn't give up a 3rd rounder to get rid of Meyers. He's a functional 3rd pairing dman who someone will want for depth for a playoff run at the deadline. Wait until March and get a 3rd rounder instead.

I'm surprised at how many ACGMs want to give up on Podkolzin. I think the kid will be a typical late bloomer Russian.

Canucks Fans, this is a public announcement:

Please don't ever trade for anyone cause according to PalHal the Canucks are the #1 team on everyone's no trade list.

Mayfield just signed for 7 years, he doesn't waive for Vancouver and Lou doesn't consider trading him unless he gets a massive overpayment
