Think the DRW trade is pretty good. Caps get a pretty good forward in Fabbri who plays 30-40 games per year(2 year contract a`4m) and DRW gets a known face in Mantha who is UFA at the end of the season.
Key here is that we send Fabbris contract for next year to Caps and let Mantha walk to UFA= more cash to splash in contracts and maybe some free agents.

Fabbri is always hurt, just let manthas contract expire at the end of the season instead of taking on Fabbri

I don't mind the idea of Garland for TVR or Jensen. What would it take without retention though.

Yeah but just because Mantha is dressed and on the ice doesn't mean he is there, He fell to all the way to Detroit at 20 for a reason. But you are right less term on Mantha's contract makes him more valuable.
