When Hawks move Murphy , think they will want future pieces. Can’t see any appeal in adding either Garland or Myers.

Hawks arent giving up Kurashev and Murphy unless there are prospects and picks involved. And even then I think it would have to be a slight overpayment or they would need a play for RHD replacement.

Nobody is taking Myers or Garland without being paid to take their contracts. Those two for "future considerations" wouldn't even get it done, let alone sending back anything useful (not that Murphy or Kurashev are great).

Murphy contract isn't bad and Kurashev is still young enough to grow into his. Chicago doesn't do this trade at all, even if they have interest in Garland
